Mania Has Hit

The bipolar has been very well controlled for months now, but last night/today, the mania hit. It's been about 24 hours since I last slept, and I'm simply not tired at the moment. I'm also doing like... a dozen things at once. XD

But! The weather is gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. We have the windows open. Low tonight will be 29F, which is pretty low for FL, but the rest of the week heads up into the 70s again. Blerg. I can't wait to get the hell out of this state. Somehow, next 18 months, we'll make the move from Florida to Maine. We're all eager and excited to do it, and we just need to gather the funds and time to do it.

So, I did the tally for how many words Kris and I wrote in 2011. It wound up being about 335,000. That's... a lot. However, given our writing schedule for 2012, the predicted total/goal for this year is about 552,000. Which, honestly, breaks down to fewer than 2,000 words a day, which is a pace Kris and I are very comfortable with. I think we could do it, so long as we're prompt in outlining.

Which brings me to my issue. Rather than outlining Stalemate, I began outlining Life After Death. -.-; This is useless as we had no intention of tackling Life After Death until maybe late 2013, but more likely sometime in 2014. But, the outline started forming in my head and I just couldn't let it rot there. I've been poking at it all morning. I've made it, I think, to the 1/4 mark. The next 1/4 is Ethan and Morpheus getting together, and then the big reveal moment of Morpheus' past hurts at the 1/2 mark, Ethan's journey taking us to the 3/4 mark, and then the happy wrap up in the last 1/4. :D

Then I intend to tackle Stalemate. Ideally, I'd like to get both done today, though I could just put Life After Death on the back burner. Not quite sure at the moment. I just don't want to lose the momentum.

February 10 – Stalemate
May 5 – Lessons In Cowboy
May 15 – If We Shadows short
May 15 – Flux short
July 3 – Picking Up the Pieces short
July 8 – Wanderlust: Land of Nod
July 17 – Fraternal Devotion short
September 5 – Devil's Night short
October 9 – Polyfidelity
November 21 – The First Time short

Boys On Film sub

Those four at the bottom are just pieces we'll try to slide in when we've managed to somehow--miraculously--get ahead of schedule. If we can manage that. We shall see.

Okay, time to try and get something done other than this blog post and a phone call to my parents. :D
